 Only 4 miles northbound from the Phoenician city of Byblos and 3 miles Eastbound from the ancient city of Batroun is the Pearl beach which harbors a tiny natural rock island restaurant, an exceptional natural preserved beauty.
The primary attraction of Pearl Beach is the Rock Island restaurant surrounded by the sea we have also set up a nice indoor restaurant with its romantic Arabic seating style area around the Open fire Chimney where you can grill or bake your potatoes and chestnuts to accompany a glass of local red wine, a fondue or a selection of fresh fried or grilled seafood listening to the restless symphony of the sea or your favorite music selection. The rock gazebo sitting literally in the sea is what really takes one’s breath away. You can access the tiny island restaurant through a footbridge over the sea and waves or by motorboat. You will be able to anchor nearby and our Zodiac will bring you in and out. The little Rock island restaurant can accommodate up to 60 persons in dinner seating and 100 persons in standing up party.
 Open for lunch and till late dinner, 7 days a week all year round, our chef prepares the Famous Lebanese mezze, the fresh local seafood such as fried or grilled fish, shrimps, lobsters, calamari, Octopus, crabs, Sea Urchins, pickled seaweed and a selection of charcoal grilled meats and chicken. The menu include a combination of formulas consisting of all the mezze items, meats or seafood or both, with open bar, starting at 10$ per person. Ideal for special occasions. Argileh may be called Hubly Bubly is an experience by itself.
 During the warm season starting May till October, most of our guests spend the day alternating between dips in crystal clear pollution free sea, naps on the warm white pebbles or beach chairs and enjoying their food at their tables. For the more adventurous divers there are underwater caves a natural habitat of a large selection of the Mediterranean fish and they can benefit from our special service of cleaning and preparing their catch of the day for a symbolic service charge.
The water is warm with a steady trade winds and beautiful naturally panoramic scenery. Perfect conditions for claiming the freedom of the sea. The beach is actually made up of shiny colorful small pebbles. The coarse pebbles will tickle your toes and provide hours of entertainment for curious kids with easy access to the safe waters. Do not forget to bring your snorkeling gear since the underwater view is magnificent. Have your camera always handy for the most beautiful pictures at Sunset or during a storm capturing those big waves breaking so high like a cascade on the big rock around you and we guaranty you a dry return home. We recommend wearing light rubber shoes for comfortable access over the warm pebbles of the beach.
 What’s special about Pearl Beach is that it is non-crowded, non-commercialized, environmentally preserved, safe and offers a unique sunset and peaceful view and you can also scan at close range the map of Lebanon carved by mother nature to the least detail, where you can recognize the tiniest landmarks of the land and shore.
Pearl Beach has a reputation as a dive nirvana. Divers return over and over again marveling at the unique underwater rock formation, natural caves and large selection of colorful fish. Diving at Pearl Beach is safe, slope diving, you start in shallow water and make your way into deeper water down to 75 (25 meters)
